Koliba (in local dialect a traditional Shepard's hut) was never meant to be just another rental, but a retreat shaped by quiet, space, and a deep respect for its surroundings. Set away from the crowds, it was developed for those who seek stillness, where architecture and nature exist in balance, and every detail is considered.
Natural materials, open space, and understated design come together to create a feeling of calm and effortless comfort. Koliba has a truly unique atmosphere — light pouring through wide windows provide constant views of the Tatra, the silence of a private setting, and the sense of having room to truly breathe.
Beyond the stay, there is a connection to the land itself. Fresh eggs from our chickens offer a simple, authentic touch — small moments that turn a visit into something more personal, more memorable.
This is not just a place to stay. It is a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience the mountains differently.
From the mezzanine, large windows frame sweeping mountain views, so guests can wake up to the Tatras — and in winter, even sunrise from bed. Surrounded by peaceful walking paths and a nearby mountain river where locals swim, it’s a place to slow down and experience the landscape at its most authentic.
